Gum 101 Presentations
Gum Technology offers a basic educational Gum 101 course, which is presented in person at your company’s facilities, saving you from travel expenses. It is a PowerPoint presentation which also features demonstrations.
- The 1-2 hour course covers the basics of gums –their origins, functionality, characteristics, application, and how they perform when used in formulation with other ingredients and processing conditions.
- Basic terms are reviewed as well as appropriate methods of dispersion leading to proper hydration. Gum Technology considers this 101 course to be a value added service for qualified companies. It is purely instructional and we do not present specific Gum Technology stabilizers as part of a sales pitch, but rather gums in general.
- This class is appropriate for all levels in the industry. Research and Development, Quality Control, Culinary, Purchasing and Production attendees would all benefit from the class.
- A CD of the Gum 101 presentation is given to each attendee. The CD also contains reference sheets which are a valuable information source.
