Guar Gum HV


Description

Coyote Brand Guar Gum HV is obtained from the ground endosperm of Cyamposis tetragonolobus (L.) Taub. (Fam. Leguminosae). It consists chiefly of a high molecular weight hydrocolloidal polysaccharide, composed of galactan and mannan units combined through glycosidic linkages which may be described chemically as a galactomannan. It is dispersible in either hot or cold water and will achieve viscosity without heat being applied.
